Your points well taken. I have emailed ANA long ago on the previous fashion show ( hope it was constructive). I had taken an American friend to the show and he pointed out how those thugs represented Nepalese culture. It was a moment of embarrassment. I did not know what to tell him except uttering the word "idiots". My issue is don't fool the crowd. If you want to show thugs and hoochies call it that show and sell the tickets with that name and if you want to show true Nepalese culture, please show things that reflects Nepalese Culture.
I would have to disagree with you on giving them a credit for the first show, any cultural association should have a common sense of showing their own culture and not someone's. ANA conventions has been more and more a SHOW OFF show than a cultural show.
