These days you need brains to solve problems, and you can be sure that we lack it as compared with Indians. It is normal that India looks after its own self-interest as any other country would. But it is not normal that our elected nepalese government officials do nothing about this. The primary fault here is not with India but with Nepal and us nepalese. We cannot even get along with each other. We are petty people with petty brains fighting over petty issues. Each nepalese ethnicty is demanding autonomy at the moment. You think a major issue like border encroachment will bring all nepalese together and fight over injustice? You can dream on? Imagine for a second, if all the people living around the border were of one nepalese ethnicity and India was to tell them to keep quiet about the border encroachment in return for its help for autonomy against the nepalese government. I would not be surprised if they would not join hands with Indians. We lack collective thinking because our society, our culture, our tradition is all about divison and never about acceptance of differences. Think for once about caste system.
