I have been working through an Indian consultancy for more than a year. They had promised me to apply for Green Card after 6 month..which they didn't. Now its more than a year and still they are asking me to wait for few more months with the reason of IRS being strict nowadays. They are telling me that it is good for me not to apply for Green Card in this situation. But I heard that they linger us and I doubt if they are telling me the truth as I have regular Pay Stubs. Also, if they want I can get the client letter.

Also, they had promised me to raise my pay after each six months but they havent and its been more than a year. I was also thinking of transfering my H1 to any other consultancy which would pay me in percentage basis and also apply green card. But again the manager of my consultancy told me not to even think of that in this situation as there is high chance of getting rejected.

Now my question to any of Sajha user who know about this is :

Is there anybody who is either transfering H1 from one consultancy to anotheror applying for Green Card through indian consultancy  in the current situation ?

Is it true what I am getting from my Indian Consultancy or they are just lingering me around ?

Is it true that there is high chance of getting rejected if I try transfering my H1 ?
