I wish you look beyond the religious books and see the values and morality that are passed on for the overall good of mankind, no matter what religion. I feel Christians are better off than us. I accept Bible is as dumb as flying monkey god, stone d!!ck worshiping, cow pee drinking aspect of OUR religion. Let us be clear that any books written and misinterpreted for thousand of year will NOT make sense NOW. We are as bad as them, let us not paint false pride here.
With regards to "cosmos, space/time, light speed and all other good scientific stuffs", if we were so advanced at that time when those ideas were conceived, then why the hell are we so backward now? How come the "New Kid On Block" surpassed us? Ideas without actions, maybe. So are we going to say Ravan invented aeroplane?
Shouldn't we be the most advanced society by now. Science moves forward, not backward. Holy Crap, what went wrong in our case.

Don't be too holy. Catholic never accept homosexual but most of the priests invloved in the Church Sex abuse were raping little boys (not even girls). How hyprocrate. Catholism in US is the biggest joke. Pope didn't do anything, tells you where his priorities are. We might be backward and old beliefs (pagan u call us), atleast we do not rape little boys (we are not talking few rare cases, it was in thousands). So do not preach us.
