Reports from World Bank, UN, and Nepal government suggest that there has been really good progress in reducing infant and maternal mortality rates, and increasing average life expectancy after the introduction of democracy in 1990. However, I don't see a direct correlation of teenagers' height with democracy though. This will be an interesting find if you could share the source of information.
