special probability distribution problem

hey guys any one have an idea how to solve this problem?

a company has 2105 type A copiers that require service every 50 work days
it has employed 8 workers that can fix upto 8 type A copiers per day
Type A also may require service at 40 work day or upto 60 day

it also has 386 type B copiers that require servicing every 20 workdays.
Employees for B are 7 that can service max of 4 Type B copiers each day.
Type A also may require service at 16 work day or upto 24 day

Now they are merging with a new company that will increase Type A copiers to 3185 and Type B to 596. this represents about 50% increase in copiers.
there fore is 50% increase in workers necessary?
the other side argues that the company maintains an excess of technicians for high load time so on average the more the copiers the there wont be free workers idiling, thus proportionate increase is not necessary?

the manager is hoping that 95% of service request will be done on the same day and only 5 % can be bumped next day. Services are first come first serve. Only one service can be done at a time. The orrurance of one service isnt related to other breakage.

What do you think?
