If I were you, I'd call USCIS and plead that I could talk to a high ranking official. Just state your situation on the significance of the approval of the EAD card and you should be fine.
Also, try to submit a new application along with pics. Don't submit any application fees but DON'T forget to write a note with a header "URGENT". In the note, describe your situation. You won't lose anything by following these steps.
Good luck bro. Most of my friends have already received their OPT ( EAD Cards ) within 5 mins. Wonder why USCIS took so long for your case.
