My view is that Army should follow government orders which they didn't and for that action would be inevitable in any civilised world but our country is exceptionally, Nepal. But the politics behind it which I have come to know is that Katwaal acted against the government orders and he will be retired in few months time but before the maoist supporting second in line (can't remember his name now) will retire before him and the third in line (whose name again I can't remember) is Congress affiliated. Hence, if Prachanda can appoint the second in line by firing Katwaal, he can reinstate his infulence in Army for at least next three years by which time the third in line will have retired and also Army integration process will be fast-tracked. However, Congress wants the third in line to come to power and are agitating against the government.

Thought people should know the truth before arguing. This is all political game and nothing else as I have come to know. Please review this story if I am wrong but no matter who is in power the Army should, by law, follow the government orders otherwise the system will collapse in the country.
