though i have not following this issue, so i might be wrong to comment here.  My understanding was, extension of term was just a trend, not a law.. that was what I read somewhere. So this govt. did not extend generals' term, means the govt. broke the past trend, but they did not broke the law. .. I guess govt. holds the right not to extend (or extend)..

 just wondering.. how come court issued such decision? .. interesting..
