Being a reformist doesn't mean you have to uproot everything, oppose every view which has a relationship towards the past and hate lucky people. As far as my understanding goes, the main problem which you had was the definition of the "smart people". First, why don't you explain your definitions? What should be the criteria?
This thread isn't about the stark difference in lifestyle or the depredations of the poor or the opportunity which they have, what they can afford or even the definition of smart.
