This is what i learned so far from readings materials and books.

As of 2009, Kirat calendar is 5069 while Nepal is 2065 as English 2008/2009.

It is almost the same as the Chinese civilization.

Kirat New
Year (Kirat Sambat 5069) or (Yele Dong 5069) is
 the
Long forgotten New Year of Kirat people of Nepal. It is to be on the day of
Maghe Sankranti, 1st Magh..."misunderstood as MAGHE SAKRANTI but this is
not maghe sakranti".  This is

Yele sambat Kiranti new year which Kiratis celebrate in
maghe siri panchmi.

Kirat
community all around the world celebrated the Ubhouli Sakela/Sakewa
Festival to welcome their New Year.

Therefore Nepal Year is 5069 and not 2065 if we are to go with the earliest civilization of Nepal.
