Good point kukhura chor.

I think it's extremely hipocritical of us Nepalis to say our culture is isolated from indian culture. Look at the number of people in Nepal that can speak/understand hindi, the number of Bollywood movies that run in theaters AND are immensely popular, the clothes and fashion, the TV programs, the songs you play at wedding, the food etc etc. You name it.  There is no denying that indian culture is quite intergral to ours, and people actually seem to enjoy it. It is not being forced upon us. People like it. Just becuase people like certain indian things does not mean they are all set to change their nationality. That's just ridiculous. So what if this girl danced to a bollywood song in a nepali cultural program? It's just a true reflection of pop culture in Nepal. Anyone who is truely secure about thier national identity, patriotism and pride should not have been threatened by someone simply dancing to a song from another culture. Big deal. Get over it.
