Mn't sure if you are allowed to file your tax jointly when u are a Non Resident Alien. That is if you fill up 1040 NR/1040NR EZ forms.
In case if u intend to fill out 1040, u should be able to do that.
The instructions in the forms are comprehensive enuf to help you out.
