I feel the army should not be demoralized for any petty interest and short sighted strategy. They when manipulated can become resiatant and take over the government as it is seen in many countries, and if fear psychology is to rule, they are professionals and paid for that.

However, their commitment for the chain of command and respect need to be understood and respected with no attached strings. Political interference will only spoil them and make them ambitious for misadventures.

What the army did in the past was the duty that was commanded by those who were at the helms of affairs, hence the blame if any should go to the one who commanded and not who did the duty. In a nation when those cowards and flighters of the fighting times now come to street protesting and demanding their promoted reinstation, the brave servants dedicating their lifetime for the cause of the nation needs respect and right space. Let us not play with the army, and as the minister I find it so immatured on the part of the cloudy brain to shout foul in public when he is supposed to be the one managing things in the house affair.
