U-17 ACC Cup, which is the last of its kind is won by Nepal, a country with a very strong youth team. Nepal overcame its batting blues to register 10 wicket win over Malaysia. Nepal, the host of the event produced a fine bowling performance to contain Malaysia for modest total.
By winning the event, Nepal have shown its dominance among non test playing nations at youth level. Having won every age-goup touraments at Asian level, Nepal was the hot favourite to win this too. However, Nepals’ worries lies in transforming the youth level performance into senior team.
