I had my H1B visa interview on the 30th of Jan 2009. They only asked me if I worked for the company or did I contract through a consultancy.
If you go to the website for the US consulate Kathmandu, you will find a list of documents required both for the submission of the application at NABIL and the documents required for the interview which you take with you and submit it at the counter at the time of the interview. I had all the documents listed on the website.
I also carried additional documents in a different packet that I didn't submit (like all my I-20's and EAD cards ready just in case they asked for it).
Thankfully they didn't ask for any additional documents.
