I dont agree with Strikes!! When there are strikes, you need to understand that things are wrong.

It worked for Maoists and see the consequences. Anyone who can collect a mass does it to protest anything. There is got to be other ways to deal with things.

And just imagine, if staffs of "St. Xavier" strike for Salary hike what should the staff of other schools (especially, government) do?
