Solo Sex Toys Stigma Declines
Straight British men are embracing increasingly realistic sex dolls and adopting anal toys such as the Naughty Boy Prostate Massager, the Independent revealed this week.
The newspaper interviewed a number of satisfied owners of top-of-the-range sex toys RealDolls all of whom spoke of their $7,000 models as friends and companions.
“I had more fun with Ginger in the first month than I ever had with human women. I had no idea how far it would go. They are more human than anyone I have ever met." ‘Mr G, 41’ from Virginia, who owns two models- Ginger Brooke and Kelly Sue- told the Independent.
“They don't break the law, they don't lie to me, and they aren't going to steal. There is no evil in them. They look the same today as they did when I got them. They aren't going to age. I want to be buried with them,†he added.
Meanwhile in France, high society intellectual/ orgy loving author Catherine Millet chatted to the (London) Times about her new book Jour de Souffrance (Day of Suffering) and revealed that she’s toned down her lifestyle in recent years.
Ms Millet achieved international notoriety in 2001 when she published her 1.2million selling autobiography The Sexual Life of Catherine M in which she detailed having regular sex orgies with up to 20 to 30 men at a time, though this week qualified her passion for sexual freedom for all.
“Sexual freedom suited me for a time but it isn’t the key to happiness. There are other things that come before sex. Your work or family can also be the centre of your life,†she advised.
“Andy Warhol once said we should show kids the sexual act very early because they would understand it isn’t that big a deal. He is saying that we give sex too much importance,†she added.
Chatting about her first book in 2002 in which she admitted remembering just 49 names of the countless hundreds who penetrated her, she was equally candid about her motivations.
'I was carried by the conviction that I rejoiced in extraordinary freedom,†she told the Observer.
“To fu(k above and beyond any sense of disgust was not just a way of lowering oneself, it was to raise yourself above all prejudice. There are those who break taboos as powerful as incest. I settled for not having to choose my partners,†she explained.
