Let me make it clear. I am a Nepali, then a Madheshi, then a human being. I don't know much about the importance of having a Newa State, but I don't even think it's important to have a Swayatta Madhesh either.
The reason we are drowning is that there are so many non issues that our leaders, our so called civil society, so called RASTRABADI'S, like to keep us engaged in that we constantly and perpetually have been unable to look out of that for ever.
While we keep fighting wwith each other on Hrithik Roshan issues (Remember BAmdev's interview with Ravindra Mishra on that night in BBC Nepali ? He was encouraging more agitation even after Hrithik said he never said so), lives were lost, public properties damaged..for what? RASTRABADITA ? I don't think so.
While the entire public was doped that with the King gone, with the commencement of new constitutional assembly, Nepal will be NAYA NEPAL..we got that right ? I am not a King or any party supporter, but Kings time was definitely not worse than current rule.
On the positive side, what is that we don't have ? We've got resources, nature has blessed us,we've got a good image throughout the world as honest and hospitable people who r great warriors...
But we don't have one thing..called sense..called vision...called looking outside and beyond the non issues and looking at the bigger issues, important issues which is to improve the economy, infrastructure development, jobs, and so on.
We have become kind of Bangladesh, Pakistan and counties like that where the general public is always regularly doped/ given a certain dosage of drugs like religion, separate state, anti India sentiment, fake nationality, fighting and killing and getting killed for nothing..and thus them and their 200,000 generations can never think of the real issue, while they can't have jobs and education, they r happy they got a separate state.
I don't want a separate state for Madhesi's. But what can I do ? Practically, I'm helpless.
Can the brain say, separate me and I can work independently. Can all fingers be separated and be functional as they will be if they were a fist? Think about it.
And yes, before blaming India and others for funding and fuelling these movements, lets introspect, how clean we are ? If they are acting on their interest, why can't we act on our interest, which is...so many things.
