Unfortunately, universities are the breeding grounds for many of these pseudointellectuals who enroll in a couple of sociology courses and consider themselves leading authoities on any race-related issue. These poor souls fail to realize that they have been brainwashed by the institution to think in a certain manner. These people are afraid to actually use logic, and are more comfortable reciting the drivel that their professors engrained into their tiny little skulls. For example, even the most uneducated village man in Nepal has the common sense to know that the killing of an innocent person is a horrific crime and the actions of the killer cannot and should not be justified or rationalized. However, these college-brainwashed imbeciles tend to with over-analyze simple situations and enjoy showcasing their knowledge by spewing a bunch of rehearsed bullsheit that some nerdy lecturer said a few years earlier. Let me break it down for these mindless robots: Killing an innocent person is BAD. Defending or rationalizing the murder of an innocent person is STUPID. Instead of using this discussion to showcase one's intelligence (or lack of), some people would be better served to use this forum to express their sympathies and show compassion. This man was a fellow Nepali. He was a brother to someone, a son to someone. Sitting at home behind your computer and rationalizing this senseless killing is very disrespectful. What if your brother was shot in the head or stabbed by a black man for no apparent reason? How would you feel if people on the messageboard were like, "Well, I think it is sad, but we must understand what the black man was going through."
