I had used the old version of AP a long time ago, they are very user friendly. Most of the Sony's software are very similar in looks, you can easily get used to it if you have any experience with any of their another product. I wasn't really impressed with the bus-group-mixer layout of AP. The newer AP 7 seems to have lots of new features, supports midi, VSTs and lot of effects.
