nate,

Based on my experience, my friend's experiences, nepalese population, chances of assistantship availability, university setting , weather, off campus jobs (only if you are legal :), and your credentials, I recommend following universities in order

UTA (www.UTA.edu

Mississippi  State University www.msstate.edu/

ODU, Virginia www.odu.edu

Southern Illinois University, Carbondale (www.siuc.edu  )

louisiana tech university  ( www.latech.edu )

But if you want to graduate early and make some money, don't think anything else apply to WWW.LAMAR.EDU . Most graduate in 4 semesters (including summer) and get job in Houston or Dallas. It does not matter how long you spend in graduate school, what it matters is the money you make and the job you get after graduation for your career.

If you believe in your credentials and can get REAL good recommendation letters, try  www.ncsu.edu (Close to Cisco, IBM and many other companies), www.vatech.edu (lot of career and research opportunites), iowa state universtiy (www.iastate.edu (?) )

Good Luck with your applications.
