Bhusan Dahal

Intelligent, eloquent, powerhouse of ingenuity, explicit in television, decent ...words is never enough to describe Bhusan Dahal. Accidentally stepped in the world of television in 1988, Bhusan Dahal personifies the creative world of television. His first ever hit show Sunday Pop not only changed the trend of Nepali Musical shows but also helped him to believe in his own creative ideas. With the journey from Sunday Pop to Fireside, he brought revolution in the standard of Nepali Media. The person behind most number of successful TV shows, music videos and advertisements, Bhusan Dahal certainly is one of the most influential names in the world of entertainment business of Nepal today. His directorial debut Kagbeni crossed all the boundaries and established him as the visionary and vibrant director.

Trust?  A political leader? That too a Nepali........I trust none, that's what keeps me going with FIRESIDE the day I trust one, I would stop asking questions to them.

The easiest way to make you loose your cool? 
Get me someone who is not what he or she is......you know what I mean......there are plenty of pretentious guys around.

Your biggest dream yet to achieve?       
So many of them.......they are better as dreams.

What's the one thing that irritates your wife about you?
You should have asked her on this but I feel it's me messing up with her tidiness' she commands at home

Oh there are so many of them alive.....I wish all of them a very youthful life.

Catch up with friends in different assortments.

After 40 you realize there are plenty that kills you but one that I die for......would be roasted wild boar thinly sliced.

Work ......there is plenty .

The effort that has gone into creating good songs.

How do you cope with the new comers coming in everyday in talk shows?
I try to learn from them.......fresh ones are brilliant, they teach you what should and shouldn't be done in a talk show .

Not very recently.

Have you ever wondered where you would be if SUNDAY POP hadn't happened to you?
Well Sunday pop happened by choice therefore I would have been around as a television guy in some form or the other even if it had not happened.

What's the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?
Reach for the bottle of water that stays next to me when I sleep.

If you were to invite five famous people to dinner at home who would they be?
Former king Gyanendra, and prime mister Prachanda,....the other three could join us for desert in the end if need be.

There isn't any particular phrase that I use all the time.

BASANTI as the director...I would have treated whatever the novel deserved.

Do they imitate me? Never realized that....it's not so evident.
