Nesh bro... one of my friend had a same issue a year ago...as per H1 visa status and state and fedral labor laws you are not binded to any company at any times... you have the right to go choose any company you want at your will.... it is against US labor laws binding an employee to a company by making you sign documents to be with the company... most of these companies take advantage of it.... My suggestion to you is contact the state labor department and fedral as well.... if you have a strong proof of your wages your time sheet of when and were u worked you are eligible for your wage....and no one can stop you from getting it.... ahead the company will not be allowed to apply any H1 to any of his employees.... he is still fighting with the company but even if he looses he will screw the consultancy .....so good luck! just remember labor contracts is illigal in US. its a modern day slavery which america abolished long time ago...

Start with calling  the state labor department and then the fedral. The state should provide you with a lawyer or a investigator...and also claim that they did not provide  you with your W2 with correct wages and then the state and fedral tax agencies will be after that company....remember its a fedral crime to avoide tax in US...and not claiming the right amount of wages is even a bigger one.
