I didn't get whether this listing should say anything about being a 'nationalist' or not.. and where is prachanda's resume to make a comparison (though we mostly know what would appear in his resume)...
Anyway, the Indian prime minister is a much qualified person, and has quite a lot of experiences, but I don't believe he was the 'people's choice' in their last election. If a democracy has to pick, through indirect methods, a person who cannot win elections as the prime minister, then that's really a useless exercise. It's not necessary that the prime minister himself/herself be technically expert in all fields; s/he should be good at proper administration and management and should have expert people as advisors and planners. Our prime ministers seems to fail both ways. He has chosen interesting persons as members of the country's planning commission:
prem kunwar (UML cadre): volleyball player
kayodevi yami (hisila's sister): bacteriologist
sunilbabu shrestha (narayankaji's nephew): engineer
prof yogendra pd yadav: linguist
etc..
