Currently I am in Nepal and I applied for H1B. Which is approved and my company from USA sent me all required documents. My interview with counselor went fine. She returned my documents and kept pp and I797 and told me that she is going to issue visa and I do not need to pay any more. Also she told me to come next day and collect my pp. Next day I went and got surprised that they had kept my passport for administrative process. They told generally it take 2 weeks or up to 1 month and they will call me and ask to submit it. Something are clear to me as they said but I am worrying now why they kept in administrative process? and is there any chances to get reject?

Also Please reply if anyone went through this process.
