Right to religion in US does not only mean every one in US do not follow no religion it also means you can follow any religion. In Nepal not 100% are Hindus not every one worship cow. Why we worship cow in Nepal? There may be many explanations but one explanation would be I think the cow was very important to our ancestors. It was very useful to their life in many ways.
In almost all the religion people believe in some kind of higher power a god. Whether it is Shiva, Christ, Buddha or Allah. So its up to the indivudual whether you trust or believe. But as "neerman" wrote you might not have trust but we believe on so many things which our ancestors has said and we have no proof of that.

Wheteher we do or plan but it might not be as one wants or plan their destiny. Whether it is god or not but it will happen what is to happen no matter what you wish, plan or do. Even medical science believe on miracles. I also don't know whether it is god or not but I believe on some kind of higher power.
People who has experiences on something no matter what one says, they will believe on god and I am one of them. If you don't want to believe thats your choice and wish.
