I would not recommend to go after 'the usual suspect' otherwise the real culprit will escape. The story will be very lame if Mukunda Shyam (MS) is guilty because it's very predictable. Remember MS is the direct benificiary and he's been posted in a rural place. He'll surely want to go to a better place. I believe rahulvai will make turns and twists to make the story more interesting. The antagonist should be a third person other than Smriti and MS - someone who will benefit from the downfall of Smriti and MS. Also there is less possibility that Smriti's husband did that as he has not been mentioned much so far (but let's not exculpate him yet). There is strong chance that the narrator is the fugitive or it may be his alter-ego who adores Smriti. The narrator knows her from his school days. It could be that the narrator and Smriti's sister were in relationship but he secretly started liking Smriti. When Smriti's sister found out that and they had a big fight and broke up. She killed herself as she was pregnant with his baby. But of course, the narrator was not aware of this and he even didn't try to know the reason of her suicide (or it could be that he forced her to commit suicide). blah blah ........... it's just my guess!!!!!! rahulvai don't mind it........

I hope the ending will not turn out flimsy like in Hindi mystery movies............ rich couple killed .... there are many suspects .......close relatives and friends........turns out the old maid and servant killed them.....

Keep up the good work.....
