Since you've asked for my opinion on 'Christopher J McCandless' philosophy and the way of living, personally I don't prefer that kind of life because I believe in my identity, responsibility, love and other social aspects, which are not possible in isolation. But I am not saying he was right or wrong either. The meaning of life or lets say the reason for living is pretty much a subjective term that entirely depends upon a person's perception.
And regarding the correlation between money/wealth and trouble, I do agree with the Christopher to some extent. But running away itself is not the solution. Had every people thought and acted like him, we would be just another creature roaming with burden to live meaningless life.
Also no SAJHA, no 'INTO THE WILD', nothing at all :)
