Does anyone know if you can apply for Canadian work permit in Canada once you have applied for a PR from here at the Buffalo office? I've already applied for PR but my OPT expires in couple of months. So I need to get out of US. Can I go to Canada and wait for my PR there? And in the meantime apply for work permit? I know people can do that if they have applied for PR from INSIDE Canada. But what's the deal for someone who applied in the US and later go to Canada while waiting for the PR to come?
