Hi ,

my friend's OPT  expired on June 30th of 2008 but he got H1 Receipt  on May,2008 .So,he informed DSO Of his university for extension of his 1-20 till Sept 30th on Cap Gap Extension progam.He didn't get approval of H1 till Sept 27 .For precaution,he tried to enroll in the New University for going back to F1 Status. .But from new University he got the information that his sevis is expired.

The new University is requesting the DSO of old university to get him back to the status which is possible .But DSO of old university is denying it

.His  Visa is Expired.

Looks like he is out of status and he wants to get back his status.Please help him in that situation This would be a great help for him .
