Why did she send herself to Malesia?

Why the narrator thinks he is so important to her life? Is the narrator trying to tell us that he is so important that even an hooker cares of him?

What changes did a narrator caused such that she had to change her profession? Just because he saw her in the Bus? She might even have regular customers. Since sening same man many times did not force her to change her profession, why seeing the narrator bring about such a cahnge in Babita?

In reality, Babita really went to Malesia. That's what Babita's do. Search for a life of respect. Stricken by the unfulfilled sexual desire, the babita that the narrator saw is just the figment of his imagination. :)
