No Strings Sex Shocker

A new online survey of adult Brits revealed this week that 72% use the web to look for ‘no strings’ sex, with over half recording themselves having sex with their mobiles.

The survey for TV show Generation Sex was published as US magazine Cookie and AOL published the results of a massive survey of 30,000 married women with children which revealed that one in three has had- or is having- an affair.

71% of the women surveyed for "Sex and the American Mom” also said they wanted more sex, prompting relationship expert Michelle Weiner-Davis to suggest frigid men could be the root cause.

"Men are so ashamed of speaking up about [it],” she told the Huffington Post, “Low desire in men is America's best-kept secret."

Another possible cause emerged in Professor Lisa Diamond’s new book ‘Sexual Fluidity: Understanding Women's Love And Desire’, in which she claimed that bisexuality is ‘a phenomenon that is intrinsic to female sexuality.'

The Utah University professor studied the sex lives of 100 American women for ten years and discovered that for many, gender of partners was genuinely irrelevant.

'If a woman's sexual orientation is heterosexual she will end up with a man, but she will still enjoy a woman and be capable of being with one,” she told Metro newspaper.

Sex In The City star Kim Cattrall also addressed sexuality this week, and revealed that despite playing SITC sex maniac Samantha in the series, had a far from fantastic sex life in real life.

"Everyone expects great-looking guys and beautiful women to be having great sex. That's not true. I always had a sexy image on camera, but I wasn't having a fabulous sex life,” she told Cosmopolitan.

"Why? Because you can't be intimate with an image,” she suggested, “Similarly, I remember going to bed with a really good-looking 'ladies' man', in the hope he'd teach me what I'd been missing. He didn't.”
