if "i have a dream" speech by MLK was one of the greatest speeches of all time and the best speech ever on civil rights, today's speech by the democratic presidential candidate barack obama certainly qualifies to be one of the best political speeches ever (the best i have heard from anyone for sure) -- reminiscent of some of the best speeches in the history.

the fierceness and "aggression" with which he addressed all the attacks from the republicans -- especially on his patriotism -- was noteworthy -- something which had been accumulating for a while and he spitted it out tonight it seemed. i found myself pounding my fist on the table when he said: ENOUGH! hahaha...that was certainly one of the prime moments of the speech. not to mention his open invitation to McCain for the debate on who's got better judgment and temperament.

now that he's covered all attacks and shown the fighting spirit and killer instinct, it would be interesting to see how republican convention rolls on next week.
