I don't see it as pathetic, they are proud of their country to score many medals in total, so what's wrong with that?  It is very surprising when you said Marion John is your favorite player and have guts to compare with Michael Phelps and other good players. Common she cheated the game, it don't  justify to compare  someone who cheated in the game ,got stripped of the medals to the other who did some stupid things outside the game. " Her ability was never challenged", do you even know what steroids do??
