This issue is not as simple as Mr Nepal makes it out to be. It is not the sole domain of citizens of Nepal. It directly involves the citizens (Nepali-speaking and others) of those areas raised in his quest, who have since pledged their loyalty and fealty to nations other than Nepal. India does not give even statehood to areas where there is a Nepali-speaking majority like Darjeeling. This Greater Nepal bogey has been used now and again by the Indian government as well as by  the Bhutanese government to persecute their own citizens of Nepali origin. Talk about conspiracy theories, but this issue seems to have been planted!

This guy also talks about how someone whose parents migrated to Nepal a generation or two ago does not qualify to be called a Nepali citizen proper! Sounds creepily, and scaringly, similar to he policies of the Bhutanese government which rendered more than a hundred thousand Nepali-speaking people refugees!

It perhaps behoves all Nepalese to attempt to make the current Nepal greater (in name, reputation, prosperity, peace, development) instead of trying to, in vain, expand the current boundary of the country. Some amount of energy as well to put into their place political bigots like this one!
