The second official language in Nepal ?

coming to think of a federal structure, an ideal scenario IMO would be Nepali and English as two official languages in the union level and local/native language as second official language at the state level where a good majority of the people speak/understand that particular language (means it is more common than Nepali). If that makes Hindi a second official language (after Nepali) for the local people/regions, I think the state and the country should not have any objection(s) in making it official for that region.

Sometimes we are two emotional for weaker reasons and at wrong places coz:

1) There are more complex and serious issues that are demanding more attention than the second official language thing.

2) Just because a section of people speak Hindi and a small part of Nepal has it as a second official language doesn't/shouldn't jeopardize our integrity long as we have firm and fair policies in trade, commerce, resource sharing and very many other areas with the big bro.

peace...
