What should New Nepal Do ?

Lets forget about the political turmoils for a while and start thinking constructively. Nepal has already missed agricultural and industrial revolutions, which were major fundation eras for most of the developed nation's economic rises. Now nepal is at the verge of missing technological revolution either, based on which countries like India and China are becoming economic tigers. We are already far behind in technologies, agriculture and industries and seems like it's almost impossible to keep pace with the world on these areas. But we have to attain this economic rise if we want to establish ouselves as a nation going forward. 'Economics' seems to me like to be the only religion in modern world and upliftment of all the aspects of a country is dependent on its economy. Well, I am not an economist, but this is what seems to drive a country and the whole world and so don't want to remain completely illiterate on it.

The main purpose of the background in above paragraph is to esatblish the context for this thread. Sajha community brings together many of nepal's young best thinkers together. No doubt, our current old leaders are going to leave us a handicapped country with no infrastructure and one of the worst political cultures in the world. Nepal's future is upon us. So we need to start thinking what kind of country do we want to leave to our children so that they won't curse our generation for a devastated legacy, like the way we are cursing the generation above us. If not a country labelled 'Developed nation', we can at least leave for them a progressive country with a motivation to move forward in the path of developmemt. So lets start giving it a thought. What can we do to enhance Nepal's economy ? What should 'New Nepal' do ?

(Please add only constructive thoughts on this thread. Lets leave issues like political turmoils, bad leaders, regional and ethnic conflicts for other threads. Sajha is full of those kind of threads. This thread is not going to going to create a blueprint for nepal. But at least we can remind ourselves our responsibilities as Nepali. Thanks in advance for your contributions.)
