I am going for DBA .

Wondering what level of knowledge do they expect from you? 

From your queries I guess that you got to know a lot about environment, instances and servers used, etc. but are you also supposed to know about other programming languages  ie, XML/VB/CLR/.NET etc. Man, I donot have any realworld experience only know as much as they told us in the training and books. Looks like its a hard nut to crack.

Well, any input from y'll  would be a great help at this moment.
