Mostly due to poor oral hygiene status
Doesnot means you do not brush your teeth..but could be inappropirate brushing and flossing

Gingivitis,,, can be Periodontitis too

Consequences
Halitosis (Bad breath)
Bleeding Gum
Mobile teeth.... if too bad periodontol disease leading to loosing the teeth

Treatment and Management
1. Professional cleaning as calculus cannot be removed by brushing
2. Use of Chlorhexodine Mouthwash/gel  (Corsody is  a good one) - twice daily not more than 7 days
3. Improved brushing technique
4. Flossing once daily
