Hey all sajhaites and rastrabhakta sathi ho,

 Again, I am heartily pleased that all our sajha members are really concerned about this issue which has slapped our mother tongue nepali and sovereignty of Nepal. Like other posts, I have been supportive of inclusion of other caste and religion and happily accepted Ram Baran Yadav as President  of Democratic Nepal.

WHY V.P PARMENANDA JHA SHOULD BE KICKED OUT?

To be in high post like V,P a person should have qualifications to sacrifice and give their life in politics and democracy. But, If we look at V.P Paremendra Jha, his characters are totally opposite. His previous profile of corruption while taking the post of Chief Justice doesn’t approve of him even being the member of C.A and he should be sent to Nakhu Jail. Babban Singh who masterminded bomb-plot on Kathmandu killing a 8 year old girl and several other people are interviewed and hailed in our country as a efficient politician which is totally awful to Nepal.  Not only this, we even forgave Babban Singh while speaking Hindi to a journalist when he was interviewed in Nepali. But we can't forgive V.P Jha because he is slamming our national language Nepali being on the top executive level.

To take oath is to promise and sacrifice your life and time to perform the Duty. If you guys know about Nepali people when hired on British Army, they take oath in English saying that they will sacrifice their blood and life to Britian no matter what and even  fight with his home country Nepal even though it is in opposition. So oath is not just a speech made by your boring Nepali lecturer but a promise and assertion given towards people and country. Talking about oath of post like President and Vice President of country is more responsible and promising in a way that represents the whole country. Also people where lot of international journalists, politicians and high profiled people from different country are present so national language and sovereignty might be severly slammed. So no matter what oath for the official administrative position should be taken in national dress and language. So I strongly protest against this Corrupted V.P Jha taking oath in Hindi slamming our face and our pure and sensational Nepali Language. So If we don’t take any action right now after few years, mera bharat mahan would be our national anthem and hindi would be our national language as we can also say, it is also language understood by everyone as all Nepalese watch hindi movies and understand dhoti language.

San: First of all,  Thank you for replying this thread. Well you agree that it is an inappropriate precedence for V.P to take oath in Hindi Language then why not take action against it. Like Newton said Every action has equal and opposite reaction, so this action is unforgivable and needs action immediately before it’s too late.  I know that I might be getting expelled from Sajha from these comments but these are my honest feedbacks and truth really bites.

Saying that, I also respect your personal opinion but I disagree with what you’ve said and here are the Statement and my feed backs

-         San, I don’t think you read news from Nepalnews which said that according to an independent statistics, only 0.05 percent of people living in Terai speak Hindi. The majority of the people there speak Bhojpuri, Maithali, Avadhi and other dialects. So how does the hindi language become the common language? Without doubt, I accept them as Nepali but how can they have affection towards Nepal if they burned the flag of our country “Nepal”.  Instead they prefer to speak Hindi and to be called Indian due to which Hindi language has spread over Terai.  Again, I have known some friends from Madhes who called them Indian whenever asked by whites and other internationals. What does that tell you?

2      “In order for a government to represent Nepalis from every nook and cranny of Nepal, we have to agree that there has to be people in the government who does not speak any Nepali - whether they speak Hindi or Tibetan.”

-         I strongly disagree with you that there has to be people from other caste who does not speak any Nepali-whether they speak Hindi or Tibetan. Here we are not talking about regional administrative position but an administrative position like V.P of country. No matter what, He/She should speak Nepali language and Nepali dress in order to be qualified for the position. Let me give you an example, I know there are lot of Hispanic people on government in U.S but did they ever take oath in Spanish while addressing United States stating that almost 35% people speak and understand Spanish?  Not at all, they have affection towards U.S and where they live now and also respect their Spanish culture as well. Let you give you my own example. I am a minority caste stating that I am not a Newar and bahun but a man born in Mongolian family. My parents spoke their language only within themselves and never taught nor encouraged me to speak my caste language.So the only language from Nepal I know is Nepali. I was also never interested but always thought Nepali is the only and common language needed. Though I don’t look typical Nepali, I feel proud of myself of being a Nepali and born in the country Nepal where sovereignty was never lost.  Similarly I along with all members accept that madhesis should be treated like pahadis. We already said that we don’t have any problem with President Ram Baran Yadav who is also from madhesis origin but Instead we are happy that a doctorate educated person is the President of Nepal and feel happy for him.

3.     “What we need to come together, tie in our energy together is to protest against the Indian Government policies towards Nepal. We have all heard of indian lawmen coming over to Nepal to beat up Nepalis. We need to protest against that. We have heard of India encroaching our lands, we need to protest against that. We have to protest against our leaders who have to go to India for meetings every other week for consultations. We have to protect our country against leaders who become puppets of the Indian government.”

-         I strongly agree with you on this statement that we need to start protesting against the Indian policies towards Nepal. So if we don’t protest them right now, they will continue doing that thinking that Nepal also accepts Hindi language and will day by day encroach our land and finally annex Nepal into India just like Sikkim and the responsible person for that reason would not only be V.P Jha but also all of us who remained quiet and peaceful after his activity. As there is a proverb that “To be audience for misbehavior is equally punishable as doing the injustice”. So why do we want to be punished for being an audience and keeping quiet instead of revolting against it? If you still don’t get it, I have nothing to say.

I am sure that you are feeling the same disgrace that I have been feeling this days.  I am happy to know there are some deshbhakti nepali still living in U.S who wants to do something against injustice instead of being the audience of the drama. So guys let’s join it.

Thika: You and gabbar6969 are racist m^therf^ker of Sajha. Why do you always bring the issue  of Newar and Bahun, you uneducated prick. What have you learn all your school days and in your college? Just to make fun of each other and blame the caste for some people.  Grow up you dick head and get over from racism.

Rai:  If you remain cool then you would see Nepal as part of India within 5 yrs. It’s worth to protest against him. It was the protest that threw monarchy and brought democracy in Nepal. So what the hell you are talking about. So you are saying that our nationalism is not strong enough.  So you’re saying , ” If some civil bridge constructs the bridge, then the bridge is demolished within 2 yrs then it’s fault of parts used to construct the bridge that wasn’t strong enough”. Dude, it’s engineer’s fault that he didn’t use the correct principle to construct the bridge as being an engineering student we say as “Safety Factor” for the bridge.

So also you said, protesting is futile. When was the protest futile? Did you forgot that we overthrew gyane’s autocracy rule by protesting against him on the streets. So Protesting is the powerful weapon of people and due to which democracy has prevailed in Nepal. Similarly, by starting pro-pahadiyas political force, you’re being racist and disintegrating the country. What if mountainous people come up with their  force called “Pro-Himali”. So stop being ignorant, arrogant and get over the racism issue. There’s only one race in the world and that is human. You got that.

TO ALL: AGAIN, I AM REQUESTING EVERY ONE TO PARTICIPATE AND PROTEST AGAINST THIS VP JHA BY PARTICIPATING AND FUNDING THE PROTEST TO KICK HIM OUT. IT LOOKS LIKE SAN WOULDN’T BE LIKELY TO SET UP AN PAY PAL ACCOUNT AND HELP US TO PROTEST AGAINST V.P JHA SO I WOULD TRY SENDING A INFORMAL LETTER TO UMESH FROM MYSANSAR.COM TO HELP US PROTEST AGAINST THIS DISGRACE AND KICK DHOTI V.P FROM CONSTITUTION.
