I have got LN46A550. I could not be much happier. Everything is amazing about it. Blue Ray is just phenomenon..... If I were you, I would look around for either Samsung or LG, that's it... Koreans have come a long way in ters of LCD screens...

780p would be fine upto 42 and if you are not that much interested in Blue Ray but if you want to have quality picture and Blue Ray... don't compromise... go for 1080p.... you don't want crystal clear pictures to be blurry because of lack of pixels.... If u want 42"+.... 1080p... fo so
