Abusive Teachers

When I was in grade 8, my teacher slapped me because I could not keep up with his dictation. The reason I could not write so fast is the desk was too crowded.

In the same way, my friend was brutally beaten by a teacher because he did his assignment in a normal note book. We were supposed to submit our assignment in the school brand note book.

Another instance, it was a very hot day and no electricity. It was also our 8^th hour in the class and the lecture was quite boring and suddenly I heard a loud noise of a slap. And slapping sound continued for a while. Then that teacher pulled that student in front of the class and beat him for almost 10 minutes. The reason- the student was drowsing. Later teacher told us that he had high blood pressure and he had problem controlling his anger. While explaining his conditions, I thought he was apologizing but I was wrong. Actually he was threatening us by saying it is just a sample and might happen any time.

I guess teachers in Nepal use students as a medium to pour their frustration. Now I realize why the students in Nepal are so violent. Shouldn't we make some laws to stop these teachers?
