First of all, the issue of “Madhesh state with a right of self determination” is not a new issue and not even an original issue promulgated by Upendra Yadav or any of these so called Madhesh party. The plan of segregating Nepal based on ethnicity was developed by Maoist a long time ago. If you guys remember, the map of Nepal divided into several state such as Tharuwan, Limbuwan, Khumuwan and Mithila and such were circulated by Maoist through various means a long time ago. Maoist had and still has separate ethnic based group among its umbrella organization. Several of them are still active in different part of the country. Thus to assume and argue that the demand of Madhesh state is solely demand of these Madhesi party is wrong. They are basically acting as a pawn in greater interest of their masters in Delhi.

The way I understand is, it is simply a drama enacted in the street and political corridor of Nepal at the cost of life of Nepali (either he/she be Pahade or Madhesi, Tharu or Gurung). The drama is basically “Ma Kute jasto garchu ta roye jasto gar”. One group is acting as Savior of Madhesi by demanding a Madhesi group with the right of self determination while the other group is acting as a Nationalist who is pretending to decline demand easily. Both group are arguing in the name of Nepali Junta who are not even sure about their end meals. Madhesi leaders are making a demand and other 3 parties (so called Pahade parties) gradually and forcefully (as a part of their role play) give into their demand. The people of Madhesh as people of other part of country simply want to live peacefully and earn their living in peace. They do not care about Madeshi state and I doubt that they are even aware of the meaning of right of self determination. The current drama is nothing more than a political strategy staged by Madhesi and Pahade party together.

Result: Big Master sitting in Delhi is happy
