Is Biswas not a Bengali name?  Not that anybody of Bengali decent cannot be Nepali.  Maybe I am still disillusioned that Nepali girls are still too innocent to dare marrying someone who is 44 years older, that too a convicted serial killer in jail.

I wonder if there is another story behind this story.

Maybe Shobraj has lots of money/property that will be legally hers once she is married to him.  Plus, she will be French Citizen after getting hitched with the French, I guess it does not matter if he is a convicted serial killer.

If Shobraj gets acquitted by Supreme Court, he will have a trophy wife.  If he does not, he will have to live rest of his life in prison.  But he will be her ticket out of Kathmandu.
