This is mere sour grapes. If it is so expensive then why are people buying it.

Bill gates is a dream come true for any person in the tech field. Because of people like him, Dell, Google Guys, Jobs etc; people dare to dream. 

One person wrote above that open source software and free software should win. Well, we all want that, don't we? A different business model which wont directly take money from the end user. But when Gates started company, there wasn't such a thing called software for end users.
