Hey folks..

Please suggest me -- I am a new driver in the U.S. I have a learner's permit, and just bought a used car. Now I need to get insurance for my car.

I am just looking for the cheapest deal so that I have something to show to the cops when I get pulled over. The insurance agents talk in too much ding-dong car slangs...and ask for a lot of dough. Are there any cheap ones ?
Please share some tricks of the trade with this novice!
