Kantipur Report
KATHMANDU, June 16 - CPN-Maoist leader Barshaman Pun ‘Ananta’ Monday warned that the party will pull out from the government if a new one is not formed by Wednesday (June 18).
The CPN-Maoist will walk out from the government on moral grounds if a consensus government is not formed, he told reporters after a programme in the capital today.
“We feel that our Ministers have to resign from the governmentâ€, Maoist central member Ananta said, “Somebody has to take up the moral responsibility since neither consensus has been forged nor has anybody stepped out of the government.â€
Despite frequent discussions, the political parties have failed to arrive at a common agreement on crucial political issues including power-sharing and formation of new government.
