h1b stamping in Nepal - Urgent help

i think you are fine with your status but  its always better to consult a lawyer for the piece of mind. why don't you consult an immigration attorney, pay some 100 odd bucks and get the professional advise.check murthy.com. i find them best in the market.

regarding the h1b stamping in nepal. i had a successful stamping this march. but it was not a peaceful one. they halted my decision by 10 business days saying they need to investigate about my consulting company.  during the interview i was asked hell lot of questions out of blues. their conclusion was i am over qualified for the job i was doing and i should have opted for some better positions. they finally asked me to go home and wait for their phone. no timeline, no deadline just wait. but they assured that it was just a process. i had to delay my nepal stay by 3 weeks just because i did not get visa. but i am finally back here working on the same project.

moral of the story: avoid getting h1b stamped in nepal as far as possible. go to mexico, you don even need a mexico visa and its just a one day process. but if you already have your tickets done for nepal then don worry, your stamping may be delayed but never be rejected (unless its a unique case). Good Luck!
