Three Arrested In Longview Drug Raid

Early this morning (March 6, 2008), the Longview Police Department SWAT team served a search warrant entry for the County Organized Drug Enforcement Unit (CODE), on Pinebrook St. in Longview.
An undisclosed amount of methamphetamine and pills were seized along with related evidence.
Three men were arrested in the residence and taken to the Gregg County jail. Those arrested were:
Rizwan Malik, 28, of Longview
- Possession of a Controlled Substance (State Jail Felony)
Irfan Mahzer, of Longview
- Possession of a Controlled Substance ( State Jail Felony)
Bikram Basnet, 22, of Longview
- INS Detainer
The CODE Unit was assisted by the FBI, ATF, and ICE.
